I am metal
I recently discovered a new band while rummaging through the news at www.blabbermouth.net. The post name had something like "Flametal - flamenco and metal combined - release new album." I was cautious at first thinking, wow this must be uber lame. I was pleasently shocked. It was kick ass metal and kick ass flamenco. So check out their new album.
Now onto "Top 10 Bands that think they are Metal, but really aren't (i.e. teh suck)"
10.Avenged sevenfold - Fuck bat country and fuck those goddamn wannabes.
9. Linkin Park - your not metal with a DJ.
8. new Korn - Way to lose the edge, jackasses.
7. Disturbed - Despite the huge suck factor, they are not metal, because have no blast beats
6. Godsmack - ^^^^
5. Marilyn manson - wannabe goth money whore = not metal
4. Killswitch engage - metal turned screamo
3. Ozzy - not black sabbath. black sabbath = \m/. Ozzy's solo career is not metal becuase he lost his edge
2. system of a down - the only band on the list i like, but dont pretend, they arent metal
1. new metallica - kids + wives + attitudes = lost edge = crappy music = not metal

and godsmack and linkin park are good if you're in middle school, so why can't you just let them have that? and ozzy has some good stuff
uhh anyway, why do you say all of these think they are metal?
ive read articles about them and interviews, btw sod and soad are totally different bands.
