Panic! at the Disco

Panic! at the Disco is a Las Vegas-based band that was discovered by Pete Wentz from Fall Out Boy while the Panic! band members were still in High School. In my opinion, Brenden Urie (lead singer of Panic!) sounds very similar to Patrick Stump (lead singer of FOB). Their one album (released this year), A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, has a slightly mocking twisted feel to it. The favorite author of all the members of Panic! at the Disco happens to be Chuck Palahniuk, writer of Fight Club and Haunted (a very sick and twisted book).

I've listened to their album a couple times through now and I'm surprised at how good it is for a first release. As first releases go, I would rate Panic! at the Disco at the same level as Louis XIV. Their first release isn't as good as The Killers first but it sure as hell isn't bad. Maybe it's good their first album isn't as big as The Killers because now it won't be overplayed.

Wow, that comment is pathetic.... Shontae, get a life. But P!ATD have a bright future ahead of them. Because of the whole Wentz thing they might become slightly similar, because they're close. I donno. But whatever's making them sound like they do, I hope they never stop. And how old are they anyways? They look so young.
